Who is behind it
Smallside was founded by me, Ryan, a soccer (football, I know) enthusiast and creative producer based in Wisconsin.
Most of my experience with the game didn’t happen on full fields. It happened in small-sided games, pickup runs, and whatever space was available.
That’s where I saw what the game really is and how easily those spaces and the people who play them get overlooked.
Smallside is way of celebrating the everyday players and building everyday spaces around the world.
